SPONSOR BIG KAHUNA BEACHFEST
BIG Kahuna Beachfest is Back!
San Diego Beach Improvement Group plans to celebrate our BIG Kahuna Beachfest’s 3rd year on Oct 14th, 2023!
This is a 4-man beach volleyball tournament where participants are encourage to dress up in costume, coordinate with their companies for team building, branding and play. Teams compete for the prized BIG Kahuna trophy, cash and a sense of pride in bringing our community together for a good cause.
As we look back at the fun we’ve had with the Beachfest, costume contests and participation, we are thankful to all of the sponsors who have helped this wonderful community event continue. Would you like to join us? We are growing fast and would love you to be a part of the action, entertainment and put your stamp on the great work we do to provide active lifestyle, sports equipment, encourage team building events for all ages and keep a clean, well-maintained environment at the beach.
We are excited to announce that we have a beer garden and division for Battle of the Bars. This will bring a lively addition to the already exciting event where so much talent and creativity is exhibited.
We also support local art education programs for youth through raffle ticket sales during the event. Since 2002, San Diego Beach Improvement Group has raised over $22,000 – providing funds for beach volleyball equipment available for public use, refurbished of the basketball court at South Mission Beach, done beach cleanups, and painted utility boxes along Mission Beach Blvd — expenses and opportunities for our community that are not included in public City budgets.
