For the basketball court, we have repaired the center crack, resurfaced the court and replaced backboards over the years. We work closely with the City of San Diego, Parks & Rec and the Mission Beach Town Council to make sure everyone has a great time playing sports and being active at the beach and we do our best to support the City in their efforts to keep the beach clean and safe.

We want to welcome you to San Diego Beach Improvement Group, where we help create great experiences at the beach! We love the beaches of San Diego, so we take care of beach volleyball courts by painting the poles, replacing nets, lines, cranks, poles and doing general maintenance like coordinating with the City of San Diego to come in with tractors to fill in and flatten the dug out playing areas. For the basketball court, we have repaired the center crack, resurfaced the court and replaced backboards over the years. We work closely with the City of San Diego, Parks & Rec and the Mission Beach Town Council to make sure everyone has a great time playing sports and being active at the beach and we do our best to support the City in their efforts to keep the beach clean and safe.
OUR PROJECTS:
Volleyball Courts: General fundraising for the courts are ongoing since we have so many people who enjoy the courts and they are available year round. To support our volleyball courts, please see payment options below. If you are an avid volleyball or basketball player, enjoy these courts on a regular basis or support our cause we have a few way to be a part of it all.
Basketball Court: 2020 will be focused on repairing the center joint, resurfacing the court and repainting the poles and rims. This is a massive project and will take a significant amount of donations to complete. Once we have the money the job will take approximately a month to complete.

Family Membership ($50)
Annual contributions to the sports courts for generations of families who have enjoyed these courts for many years. Funds will support the purchase of needed. Family members will receive a tax-deductible receipt, early bird pricing on events and discount offers with our sponsors.
Friend of the Courts Membership ($100)
For those of you who play on a regular basis and have enjoyed these courts for many years, we kindly ask for you to be a Friend of the Courts. Contributions will support the purchase of needed equipment as well as the business functions of the non-profit.
